Great sandwiches and soups. Staff always seems to be smiling. Explained about a milk allergy and the wait staff made sure I knew that even the bread had milk products in it and they could sub out a wrap or make it into a salad. One of the top spots in Niantic.

Great food. I had the "Works" for the second time. The smoked salmon was fresh and sweet. Yum.

Best coffee in town (especially the cold brewed) and a great selection of soups and sandwiches. The staff are awesome and super friendly. It's a really cool spot with great decor and a lovely outdoor area

Friendly service, slightly pricey. Ordered a breakfast wrap, instead of it being more of an omlette in a wrap it was 10% liquid eggs 50% spinach 40% other ingredients. Would expect real eggs at that price. Fresh ingredients at least.

Our family stopped here while walking the town on a hot summer day. The coffees we ordered were perfect and refreshing. Our kids ordered quesadillas, which to moms shattered ego, were "better than moms." Great stop, we will certainly be returning.

Nice place good food a little on the pricey side

Good spot for a quick breakfast and to get some work done. The oatmeal was delicious and came in a big cup. The bagel sandwich we got was really great made with fresh ingredients. But the macchiato was just okay. The bathroom in this place was tiny. Overall, sandwiches and coffee were a win.

Super friendly, always willing to make alterations to your order. Occasionally they have vegan friendly soups and sides.and a few menu options s can be made vegan as well! Triple B salad is slightly expensive but filling and worth it

Great lunch. They offer a large variety of dishes. I had a vegan wrap that was delicious! You won't be disappointed. Friendly staff.

Really great place. Everyone is very friendly and the food is wonderful. They don't put a whole bunch of goop into the food so you get to taste the natural flavors. Serving sizes are perfect and the prices aren't bad. Overall, a pleasant place.

I was in town for business and was bored with the other sandwich shops in town, when I found this spot for lunch. It has a warm, inviting, "local" feel to it. I had the goddess wrap with chicken, and it was absolutely fantastic. It came with southwestern potato salad (the daily side), which was equally delicious. It was such a unique combination of ingredients that just worked together perfectly. I would highly recommend.

This place is a Niantic institution. The people are super nice and friendly and it is just a fun pleasant place to be. It has a wonderful community feel, complete with photos of local people and events on the tables.

God I love this place. Set in a peaceful town where you can safely walk anywhere via sidewalk, this is the perfect place to grab a cup of craft coffee year round. They also offer awesome grilled cheese and lots of healthy Vegan/Vegetarian options. A super kind staff completes the experience.

Great spot for breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere, order at the counter and they bring you your food. Indoor and outdoor seating on the front patio on main street. Patio seating is dog friendly! Pretty good food.

Cafe sol is a long standing solid bet for fresh healthy eating with a local touch and feel. You would be hard pressed to find more welcoming and present owners who are backed by equally friendly and dedicated staff. Oh and their bike rack is in the shape of.... a bike. Go there, you won't be disappointed.

Very nice place with welcoming barista! My friend and I got so caught up in chatting we didn't even realize they had closed. They had not pressured us out at all or gave us those not so subtle hints that we needed to leave. I think that was really great customer service. And that mug 😃

Flies everywhere. Not just one or two but quite a few, landing on food that has no covers and then not being thrown away. It’s a perfect spot for a cafe just wish it was cleaner! Hopefully they see this and improve!

I love the customer service and the owners are wonderful. A nice variety of sandwiches to pick from and love their Mexicali wrap.

Have eaten here several times, and everything is super good. Staff is friendly. My only negative is their barbecue Chicken salad has cold barbecue chicken. If you haven’t ever had cold uncooked barbecue sauce on cold chicken, you see what I mean. Really weird. But generally every thing is on point.

Amazing restaurant with excellent food and a warm and friendly staff. I ordered the BLAT, which is basically a BLT with avocado. It was delicious. The staff greets you very warmly and is attentive to your needs, refilling your water and clearing your dishes and checking to make sure you don't need anything else. Just a very nice place down on Main Street in Niantic. I'll definitely go again.

The picture below is the extended basic with bacon (aka a bacon, egg, & cheese). They added a surprising special sauce with a mustard flavor, which was surprising since it isn't mentioned anywhere on the menu.They serve Ashlawn Farm coffee and overall they are friendly and provide good service.

I love this place. Friendly service, excellent coffee and espresso drinks. New York bagels. Excellent breakfast sandwiches, can't wait to try it for lunch. I'm always glad when I can get here for coffee instead of the mermaid with 2 tails. Well worth the detour. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free friendly.

I've gone to this place 3 times because of the atmosphere. Good food in a nice area.

Went here with high expectations. Ordered my food and after 45 minutes of waiting I approached the counter to inquire about my food. Apparently they took the order and completely forgot to make it. Pretty lousy service. Food would have tasted better if I didn't have a bad taste in my mouth from the bad service.
